Actress Maribel Verdú received the 2013 Maja de los Goya Award from Carrera y Carrera during an exclusive dinner in her honor that served as a tribute to elegance, women, and film.
The fourth edition of this award took place at the spectacular Fernán Núñez Palace, steeped in the Carrera y Carrera atmosphere for the occasion, and welcomed many personalities from the world of film, such as Judith Colell, Vice-president of the Spanish Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences; director Emilio Martínez-Lázaro; actresses Mar Regueras,Neus Asensi,Alba García, and Carmen Ruiz, as well as Mar Flores, Jose Toledo, Arancha del Sol, Carmen Lomana, Vicky Martín Berrocal and Cecilia Gómez, among other guests.
Maribel Verdú, winner of a Goya Award for her role in Blancanieves, received a unique ring in the shape of popcorn. The actress said she felt “very proud because this is the typical award that when you see it on television you say, what luck to be chosen as the most elegant, and this year, it is my turn.”
The jury for the fourth edition of the Maja Award was comprised of editors from the most influential women’s magazines, fashion directors, social press, and the most famous bloggers.
